Melamine Cyanurate

Rhinosafe MCA is Melamine Cyanurate based flame retardant which is used in Polyamides, Silicones, PBT and thermoplastics. Melamine cyanurate, is a salt of melamine and cyanuric acid.

High Nitrogen content makes it suitable to use as an effective Flame Retardant.

POLYNOL (Calcium borate on silicate carrier)

Polynol is a flame retardant synergist that is used in combination with both Halogenated and Non-Halogenated FRs in various applications of PVC, Rubber, Nylon, ABS, HDPE, PP, PBT etc.

Polynol replaces antimony tri oxide and moreover it add on some additional properties like low smoke, anti-drip, higher tensile strength, anti-abrasion and higher thermal resistance.

Polynol can replace antimony tri oxide fully, substantially or partially in different Polymers, Fibres and Rubbers with no or slight change in formulation.

Advantages of Polynol:

  • Acts as flame retardant synergist.
  • Due to its cross-linking structure it promotes anti drip property.
  • As it reduces the dosage of Antimony, it reduces the toxic smoke.
  • It can be used in both halogen and halogen free flame retardants compound.
  • Cost effective compare to ATO.
  • Environment friendly due to absence of heavy metals like Antimony and Zinc.
  • It enhances physical properties like tensile and abrasion resistance.
  • Improves thermal stability and heat resistance.
